Mississauga car rental travelers will find more than 16,000 seats inside the Molson Amphitheatre, including 5,500 reserved seats under a 60-foot high covered roof. Approximately 3,500 seats are located under the open sky, and the remaining 7,000 seats are on the grass bowl. A little history about the Amphitheatre
The Molson Amphitheatre originally opened as the Forum in 1971 as one of the first attractions in Ontario Place. The structure originally featured a vinyl canopy. The stage was round and slowly rotated in front of the audience, which completed surrounded it. The Forum closed in 1994 and was later demolished in order to make way for the Amphitheatre. This new venue was twice the size of the Forum and boasted advanced acoustics. Although many critics lamented the passing of the landmark Forum, the Amphitheatre garnered plenty of positive feedback; it even won RPM Magazine's "Best New Concert Venue" award.
Directions to the Amphitheatre

If you're traveling from the west, take the QEW/Gardiner Expressway to the Lakeshore Boulevard exit. Travel east along Lakeshore and follow the signs marked Ontario Place. Additional parking can be found at the CNE and the Trade Centre. Please note, Mississauga car rental parking is not included in your concert ticket price.
Get your tickets to a hot summer concert
The Molson Amphitheatre Box Office is open Monday through Sunday from 11am to 2pm, beginning June 7th and continuing until Labour Day. The Box Office accepts Cash, Interac, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diner's Club, Sears Card, traveler's cheques and money orders (with proper I.D.). It is recommended that you stop to pickup tickets between 11am and 9:30pm on the day of the show.
