The Mississauga Waterfront Festival as created as a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the importance of families in the local community. This program ensures that local children who for financial reasons, would not be able to attend the Mississauga Waterfront Festival, have a chance to join in the fun. It costs about $30 per child to attend the Festival for the weekend, and Mississauga car rental travelers are encouraged to make a donation to help cover these costs. Get your tickets to the Festival
Mississauga car rental travelers can purchase tickets for the Waterfront Festival online at the official Festival website, www.mississaugawaterfrontfestival.com. You can also drop by Ric’s Recollections (321 Lakeshore Road E.), Impressionable Gifts (74 Lakeshore Road E.), or The Guitar Shop (249 Lakeshore Road E.). Admission to the Festival is just $25 for a FridayFest Concert Pass, which includes complimentary admission to the festival on Saturday and Sunday, as well as admission to all family and children’s attractions. Saturday and Sunday Adult passes are also available for $15.
Events at the Waterfront Festival
The Mississauga Waterfront Festival is more than just a weekend of amazing music. It’s also a time for families to come together and celebrate each other. Mississauga car rental travelers are encouraged to participate in the numerous children’s events, including meet and greets with popular television show characters like Dora the Explorer, a petting zoo, pony rides and a sports zone. Teenagers are invited inside the Mississauga Waterfront Festival Youth Pavilion to hang out with friends and play some of the latest video games for Nintendo and Xbox. Mississauga car rental travelers can also enjoy exciting demonstrations on the water, including Jetski stunt shows and a waterskiing presentation. And of course, who could forget about the music! Concerts are held all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the festival and include performances by some of Canada’s top entertainers. Location and hours
The Mississauga Waterfront Festival is held in Port Credit Memorial Park. Mississauga car rental travelers will find the park at 20 Lakeshore Road East, on the Port Credit River (the park is right across from the Port Credit light house). Festivities get underway Friday night at about 5pm. On Saturday and Sunday, Mississauga car rental travelers are invited to come out for a pancake breakfast beginning at 8am. The entertainment and attractions will begin at about 10am.
