LG Fashion Week
Big city style hits the streets of Toronto every fall, thanks to L’Oreal Paris and LG Fashion Week. LG Fashion Week is the premiere fashion event in Canada, providing Toronto rental car travelers with an inside look at the season’s hottest trends and designs. An amazing venue
In past years, Toronto rental car travelers have observed the catwalk in a temporary venue located in Nathan Philips Square. This all changed in 2009 however, when the Fashion Design Council of Canada opened a new two acre facility at 1030 King Street West. Located in the heart of the city’s fashion and entertainment district, the new venue provides designers and audiences with an amazing view of runway events. The new layout is comprised of both tents and permanent structure, which allows the festival to grow with time. Toronto rental car travelers are invited to explore the 15,000 square foot networking environment, before entering the spacious new runway area.
A quick overview of the event
LG Fashion Week kicks off in mid October and runs for one full week. Toronto rental car travelers are invited to attend any number of the shows (minus the by invitation only events), beginning with the opening collection on Monday. Shows begin at 10am and continue until 9pm. Industry events are also held periodically throughout the week, including exclusive art collections, meet-and-greets, galas, and parties. The week ends with an amazing closing night part, complete with live entertainment, networking and cocktails.

Volunteer at the most amazing fashion event in the nation
Want to be a part of the trendiest event in Toronto? Then why not apply to be a volunteer at next year’s LG Fashion Week? The Fashion Design Council of Canada is always looking for enthusiastic, mature, capable individuals who can take initiative and work well under pressure. Volunteers must be 19 years of age or older and have a passion for fashion, event management and/or public relations. Volunteers can help out backstage, in the Fashion Environment, as an on-site assistant, or as a head office administrative volunteer.
